Knix Wear. Fashion. Function. Fit. June 13, 2014

Did you see that? And by that I mean the gorgeous underwear. This gorgeous underwear is also, (sit down, ladies.) functional. I KNOW! I know. The sumptuous lace of those boy shorts rivals the finest Parisian boutiques. Seriously. And there’s more… Oh my word y’all. It has a gusset that contains confidence.

Knock, knock.

who is there?

Fresh Fix Technology.

No moisture. No odor. No panty lines. To me, that means no more panty liners. No more choosing between comfortable and lines. Let’s be honest. How many pairs of underwear do we own? Now, how many do we actually wear? I’m guilty of owning a ridiculous amount but only wearing a percentage of them. Why is that? Some are cut well for our body shape and so comfortable. Some don’t show under our tightest yoga pants. And others indulge us in our naughty side.

You can have all that in one lovely panty.

For real? For real! The stretch is made for real women curves. Check out the Real Women In Knix page. None of those are photoshopped. That’s when you know a company is committed to being innovative. It’s time for an underwear revolution. Who is with me?

BabyGanics The Grime Fighter review October 6, 2013

I was given the opportunity to review BabyGanics The Grime Fighter. I put it up against some of my toughest grimy situations. I would NEVER lie about this, it passed with flying colors. Seriously. October means another candy season. That entails lollipops, caramels, and chocolates. My three year old opened one of each of these, ate part and left the other on my counter. Lovely. I find them melted to my countertop after an hour at the grocery store. What do you use to clean sticky and gooey candy off a place where we prepare food? Something safe. Something non-toxic. Something you don’t need to rinse or wash off after cleaning with. (Did you know after you use most commercial wipes and cleaners you should rinse or wash the surface with warm water?) Dont worry, most people don’t know that either since the companies don’t want you to know its toxic. ENTER THE GRIME FIGHTER!!!! This all purpose cleaner is completely non-toxic. It’s ingredients and in plain English, meaning anyone can understand every single ingredient. Wondering about the safety Info? Of course you are. It says: “BabyGanics isn’t meant to be consumed but things happen so relax- it’s not poisonous. No kidding though, if you swallow it, drink plenty of water. Be safe. Keep your cleaning products out of reach of children and pets.” None of that says hurry up and call 911 or induce vomiting etc. That’s because BabyGanics is developed by two dads. They invent and create EVERY product to be safe and effective. That lollipop, caramel, chocolate goo on my counter? I sprayed it on and wiped it off. Honestly. I dare you to google the ingredients in the all purpose cleaner under your sink. I’m wondering how long it takes you to give up your chemical laden wipes and spray. Only as long as it takes to google the first three ingredients. You can find out more and get your own at

BabyGanics Rear Gear chlorine free diapers review August 24, 2013

BabyGanics sent me a package of Rear Gear chlorine free ultra absorbent diapers.

First off let me say, these disposable diapers TOTALLY ROCK!!! They absorb just as much as other disposable diapers but without the long list of toxins and chemicals. Ew, chemicals and toxins, just what you want up against your baby all day everyday for years. As you can see in the picture BabyGanics has created a NeoNourish complex. It’s a 100% natural antioxidant seed oil complex that supplements baby’s natural skin defenses. Does your “other” disposable diaper do that?!

As always, these come with a list of NOT included ingredients.

  • No toxins
  • No latex
  • No petroleum based lotions or fragrances

They ARE made with

  • Natural and renewable resources
  • Plant based absorbent

As a mom I look for a few things I hate to do without in a disposable diaper. Large side and fastener tabs, absorbency, and softness. Rear Gear met and exceeded all of my expectations. I would honestly recommend these to anyone and everyone. Seriously, I love these diapers.

infantino fresh squeezed station review! August 17, 2013

I got to review the amazing fresh squeezed station from Infantino. A few reasons why I love it so much…

  • Your own ingredients. Organic, from your garden, or without an allergen if your family has allergies to something like dairy, gluten, etc.
  • you control the sugar content. I personally don’t add any sugar, just fruit and veggies straight up!
  • Non-pasturized. This may not be a big deal to you, but anytime I can give my babies something that hasn’t be processed by a machine I do. All I do is blend and freeze.
  • Portion size. If your little one doesn’t eat an entire pouch you bought, it’s a waste of money. You have control over how much you pour into each pouch. I make some full and some with less that way I can grab one that fits our day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this station! I am positive you will too!

These are pouches I’ve made with a pint of fresh blueberries, two cups of frozen peaches, and a cup of orange juice. It’s really fun coming up with combinations.

BabyGanics pure mineral sunscreen review July 12, 2013

Are you searching for the perfect sunscreen for this July heat wave? BabyGanics makes my FAVORITE sunscreen, and it’s not just for babies! My family has very sensitive, eczema patchy skin. This Pure Mineral sunscreen is the only one we use. I use it on both kids and myself! If I don’t put sunscreen on my face, I’m lobster red in no time. Now, you know me, I’m an obsessive label reader so here’s the low down on the ingredients:

NO chemical sunscreen

NO parabens

NO sulfates

NO phthalates

NO nano-particles

NO fragrances

That’s a pretty rockin’ list of “no’s” if you ask me! But why are these “no’s” so important you ask? Let me explain, what you put ON your body goes IN your body. Your body products are just as important as the food you eat. Skin is our largest organ, it’s our first layer of defense against the world around us. By using products that don’t contain these chemicals you are protecting yourself and your family. If you research those chemicals on the BabyGanics “no” list, you can find that many sunscreens continue to use them! Can you believe that? Are you starting to look at that sunscreen from last summer a bit differently now? BabyGanics has made a sunscreen that is still nice and creamy, rubs in easily, and minus all the yuckies. How awesome is that? You can learn more at

BabyGanics fine & handy hand and face wipes (totally rock!) May 9, 2013

ImageBabyGanics is one of my top favorite companies. When you hear why, I’m sure you will love them too. It was started by two fathers who wanted better products for their kids and for around their house. They started reading the ingredient lists on the backs of items. Let me just stop there, have YOU actually read what is in the products you put on your children and on yourself?! Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies, what goes ON your skin goes IN your skin.

If you’re using diaper wipes to clean up sticky kid messes on faces and hands I would highly suggest reconsidering. Every time you wipe your little misses or little misters face, you deposit all those chemicals. (Did you pitch them into the garbage yet? I bet you just did…)

Introducing BabyGanics fine & handy face and hands wipes! No insane toxins! No chemicals you can’t understand! Completely biodegradable! Free of chlorine, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, petroleum, nuts, gluten, artificial colors or fragrances.

Are you saying “hey, I think that’s something I may like. But….do they work?”

I have personally tested them on my almost three year old boy. A mess expert. I tested these against sticky face and fingers from fruit salad, from popcicles, and the worst offender of all…a candy mess on your kid while they are strapped in the car seat and you are trying to get somewhere! Each time these wipes cleaned up QUICKLY! I have to say I was quite impressed. Our family goes scent free on almost everything due to sensitive skin. We had ZERO incidents with rashes or itchiness after using fine & handy wipes. These are hypoallergenic and fragrance free. The only thing I would like to see in the future is a hard plastic reclosable lid instead of the resealable sticker like label.
